Sitting is the new smoking - believe it.

For the past four months my activities were extremely limited, basically to sitting or sleeping. Imagine my dismay as despite efforts to eat less AND healthier, I sill gained over 10 pounds. I had more trouble sleeping, I got short-of-breath more quickly and my back and knee pain were aggravated more than usual. They say that sitting is the new smoking and after my recent personal experience, I believe it. Fortunately, I can start being active again. But based upon my current (de-)condition, I’m guessing it will take me the rest of the year to recover. To try and exercise enough to lose weight and make up for the extended period of inactivity while dealing with my aggravated back and knee
